Diana Ross
Diana Ernestine Earle Ross, "Female Entertainer of the Century", started her career as a founding member of The Supremes (via). The Supremes were a symbol of "changing race relations and the breaking of racial barriers" as they challenged the centuries-old stereotypes of black women.
